David Sharp is founder and President of LWMG Insurance. He was born in raised in Lafayette, graduating from Harrison High School. He went to Purdue University graduating in Financial Planning and Counseling. He began his career in the financial services industry working his way up through several different positions with a local bank before finally finding his spot in the brokerage department. After almost 16 yrs at the bank he decided to take his passion for helping people to another level by starting Lafayette Wealth Management Group so he could continue to focus on his client’s needs and work to deepen his client relationships. In 2020 he expanded that business to include other insurance products while starting LWMG Insurance.
David is married to his wife Courtney and they have 4 kids, Kenzie (age 20), Lauren (age 15), Evan (age 13) and Mallory (age 11). They reside in Lafayette and their 4 school age kids are going to the same elementary, middle school and high school that David went to. Most nights and weekends are spent at various sporting events that their kids are involved in.
